About Me
Genevieve Clements has been a performer since early childhood: singing in local choirs and musical theatre productions, as well as playing the piano and baritone horn. After graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Music in Classical Voice Performance from the Hartt School, she became a full-time voice and piano teacher around the state of Connecticut. Highly sought after as a teacher, music director, and singer, she maintains a busy schedule filled with music of all different styles including classical, musical theatre, jazz, pop, and rock. Genny is accredited as a voice teacher through the International Voice Teachers of Mix (IVTOM), has served as Music Director for over 30 cabarets and musicals over the past 6 years, and is a member of the Schola Cantorum, resident professional choir at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford, CT. When not singing, she enjoys reading, knitting, and trying out new recipes in her kitchen! She recently completed her Master’s Degree in Music Theatre Vocal Pedagogy at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
